If you have a quirky over-the-top sense of imagination with a 19th-century sense of techno-cool, the DVICE Steampunk Cylon is sponsoring a design contest that should be right up your cobblestone alley. Just design a Battlestar Galatica Cylon as you imagine it would have appeared in the Victorian or Edwardian era. Use your technology of choice; you’re free to fire up Photoshop or break out the welding rod. Contest rules are on the website and the best entries will be featured on DVICE. Get busy, because the contest ends March 20th. Check out the gallery for last year’s winners as well as a new concept to get your mental pump primed.  Imagine a Cylon Heavy Raider crashes in the 1800s somewhere on Earth. Only a single Centurion survives, and it's heavily damaged. Realizing its only chance at survival is to use the tools available, it repairs itself with the materials of the era.
