Spider Webb has just released another book to the delight of tattoo fanatics. “The Big Book of Tattoos” contains an ton of vintage tattoos dating all the way back to when cameras where first invented through to the 1970s.

Spider Webb has published a slew of pictures that celebrate this ancient art form. From circus performers to navy boys to women who went against the grain in the 1960s and 70s, all are featured wearing badass tats.

Symbolizing deep sentiments, love, life, religion, and ancestry, body art is the closest and most permanent way to express oneself.
