Unfortunately it seems these aren't available for general purchase, which sorta bites because.. I think they rock:) Asics have designed a sneaker to make space travel more comfortable and have been developed with the help of the Japanese space agency. Apparently they have a super soft heel, a flexible sole that inclines upwards toward the toe- more importantly they seperate the big toe from the rest of the foot, hence looking very much like a ninja boot. I always wanted to be a ninja but I couldn't wear the boots- they lacked decent cushioning and support and I have bad arches and require more stability in the heel area- this would solve all my problems!
