Apparently this is not a hoax. Shower Shock caffeinated soap allows the user to enjoy an extra morning stimulant while exercising good hygiene. 

This novelty 2 in 1 product, invented by ThinkGeek has been featured on the likes of NBC, CNN, and Good Morning America, among others. 

The caffeine content is infused, and contains 4.5 servings (200 mg.) per 1.5 oz. bar, and is absorbed through the users’ skin through regular shower use.

The product website does not indicate any physician warnings about side effects.
