Officers Trained With Virtual Hallucinations

In order to give police better insight into the world of insanity and schizophrenia, some officers have been given training with a goggles immersion device called "Virtual Hallucinations" that simulates what it is like to have these types of conditions. During the simulation, officers are on a bus and passengers appear and disappear, birds swarm the windows, and whispers of "He's taking you back to the FBI" can be heard throughout, just to name a few of the simulated scenarios this training device incorporates. Whatever happened to old-fashioned, home-grown hallucinations? Some would argue those are the best kind and why bother with virtual reality? Stats for Schizophrenia Simulations Trending: Older & Warm
