Palin Bashing [Edit]

Sarah Palin has Meg Ryan, Pink and Jada Pinkett-Smith rallying against her. While many women are ecstatic about the idea of having a female vice president, this celebrity trio is not.

Meg Ryan, whose new movie, The Women, is creating box office waves, said “I guess we have to root for her in that her son just went off to Iraq, that’s gotta be really, really tough. But she doesn’t represent my politics at all.”

Meg Ryan’s views on Sarah Palin were backed by Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith who said, “It’s nice to see women in America are being extremely vocal about politics this year. But her being a woman hasn’t made me sway to that side. Not one bit.”

Pink added fuel to Jada and Meg Ryan’s Sarah Palin fire stating, “If I were writing a letter to Sarah Palin, it would be a lot of whys and hows. Who are you? Do you know? Why do you hate animals? Please point out Iraq on a map...This woman hates women. She is not a feminist. She is not the woman that’s going to come behind Hillary Clinton and do anything that Hillary Clinton would’ve been capable of ... The woman terrifies me.”

I guess they weren’t so pleased about hot Sarah Palin photos, Pink probably won’t sport Sarah Palin’s glasses, and I’m willing to bet Meg Ryan won’t be getting the Sarah Palin action doll for her children. But, all women might be laughing at Tina Fey as Sarah Palin on SNL!
