Setting itself apart from the rest of Las Vegas, Red Rock Station is located fifteen minutes west of the city in Red Rock Canyon.  The billion dollar luxury resort features billion dollar views of the canyon and distant city skyline.  The goal was to create a boutique feel despite the massive size (850 rooms).  Rooms include 42” plasma televisions, automated private bars, 15” LCD televisions in the bathroom, and iPod docking stations.  The resort itself offers swim-up black jack, a high end spa, and adventure activities like rock climbing and whitewater rafting.
