Sharing the beauty that surrounds his home in Portland, Oregon, photographer John Eklund’s stunning time-lapse film ‘Purely Pacific Northwest’ brings to life a world filled with tranquility and nostalgia.

Using approximately 260,000 images, John Eklund’s film Purely Pacific Northwest showcases the beauty of the Northwestern United States region. Eklund started the project in 2011, and after a year of shooting more than a quarter million images and gathering 6.3 terabytes of data, he’s produced a remarkable and inspiring film.
