Velvet Taco Has a New Pho King Taco Available

Velvet Taco recently wrapped up its first-ever Weekly Taco Feature Recipe Contest and the winning taco is the Pho King.
The Pho King was submitted by Dallas Velvet Taco fan Mark Jansen and will be featured on the brand's menu from September 28 until October 4, 2022. The new taco is inspired by the Vietnam Soup that bears the same name and features a delicious combination of rotisserie chicken, bok choy, pickled onions, pickled fresnos, herbed salad, crispy garlic, rice noodles, hoisin, bean sprouts, and lime. The whole thing is served on a soft flour tortilla with a side of steaming pho broth. As for how the Pho King ended up as the winner, Chef Venecia Willis explains that "It was initially the name that got me, and I knew we would have to come up with a killer taco to live up to the name. It contains all of the elements you would expect in your bowl of Pho—just in a taco."
