Patricia Arquitectura built the El Aguacate holiday home in northern Mexico. Made almost entirely of concrete, the home is located on a large plot of land in the El Barrial village, near the city of Monterrey. The single material home boasts a tall pyramidal roof that tops the main living area. The ceiling in this space features a skylight placed 4.5 meters above the floor, which brings in light to the area.
Its walls, floors, and ceilings are made of a similar shade of concrete, creating a tranquil interior space. El Aguacate boasts large windows that provide ample natural light into the home. In addition, a large terrace extends into the yard to bring the outdoor and indoor spaces together.
