Kristen Stewart might have started a new fashion trend without meaning to. See, the young ‘New Moon’ starlet paired a dressy red and black mini dress with Converse sneakers on the red carpet at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards. However, there is a reason for this dressing down. Kristen Stewart was going to wear high heels, but she twisted her ankle and had to go with the comfy sneakers. I say if guys can wear sneakers with expensive suits, then women should have the option too. At the event, Kristen Stewart and Twilight costar Robert Pattinson won a Golden Popcorn statue for “Best Kiss”. Stewart also won “Best Female Performance” for her role in Twilight.
