The two parts are held together by aluminium knobs, turned by Sylvia and Daniel of 877 on a lathe from 1928. The Nato strap is interchangeable, with six different colors to fit every outfit.

Owners of 877 Sylvia and Daniel Janssen love almost forgotten crafts and techniques, and bring them back to life with new designs. In their workshop in Hamburg, Germany, they manufacture casual bracelets with elaborate details.

Besides the historical lathe from 1928, 877 uses various techniques and tools of traditional jewelry manufacturing like the centuries-old technique of sand-casting. Every jewelry piece is casted in a lost mold, which means that the mold is destroyed to unveil the cast item. Thus, every piece has a unique surface and a great handcrafted look and feel.
