Milan Fashion Week has been host to numerous dramatic menswear collections this week. One captivating piece in Bottega Veneta’s collection was a red and white checkered neck tie. The mini scarf has the casual pattern of a picnic blanket contrasted with the luxe material of silk. It was played up by an open-collar shirt and accentuated with a black blazer.

Other notable features in the Bottega Veneta Spring/Summer 2008 line included a masculine dose of iris blue, from full suits to hefty murses ideal for toting laptops, gadgets and this season’s must-have cardigan.
