The iconic red double-decker bus is hitting the streets once again, but this time the London Routemaster will be doing so responsibly. Embracing a cleaner and greener outlook, its updated appearance and tech will ensure that London's city center does not suffer from more smog and pollution.

According to Fast Company, the London Routemaster bus "will be 15% more fuel efficient than existing hybrid buses" and "40% more than the existing diesel double-deckers." Yet the design itself is also something to be proud of. I am particularly drawn to the London Routemaster's window placement that follows the stairs up to the second level.
