Loewe, a high-quality leather goods company founded in 1846, knows leather, and the Loewe ‘Leather Icons’ collection proves just that. Despite the current it-factor of leather in recent fashions, Loewe’s designs focus on classic cuts and a classic color. All of the pieces in the Loewe ‘Leather Icons’ collection are black.

“It felt natural to use the essential colour of leather. It also helped to make a focused, bold statement. I always think black makes leather tougher and sexier,” said Creative Director Stuart Vevers of the color choice.
