Built on a personal love of cookbooks and the culinary arts, lizzyoung bookseller is a new Brooklyn-based bookshop that presents visitors with a treasure trove of food culture. Stocked with a rich collection of cookbooks and culinary literature, lizzyoung bookseller promises to be a unique resource for chefs and cooks in New York and around the world. The collection featured in the shop is roughly 60 percent old or out-of-print books and 40 percent new books, and includes titles such as 'Jello Girls,' 'Elizabeth David’s Christmas,' and a myriad of memoirs.
To mark the shop's official opening, lizzyoung bookseller will host celebrated author and 'Gastronomica' founder Darra Goldstein for a signing of the 25th-anniversary edition of 'The Georgian Feast.' The shop will also play host to other culinary greats in the future, including Kara Newman and Amanda Schuster.
