Asians are pretty much jammed into big cities, so those who can afford to holiday, might choose the tranquil Fuchun Resort near Hangzhou, China to bring them back to their senses.

Jean-Michel Gathy offers this luxurious five-star lakeside hideway near the Hangzhou mountains. Shanghai is only three hours away, but it might as well be on a different planet compared to the peacefulness found at Fuchun.
