The KitKat Green Tea Matcha is Launching in UK Convenience Stores

The KitKat Green Tea Matcha chocolate bar is being launched in the UK by Nestlé to help satisfy growing consumer demand for internationally inspired treats and provide curious shoppers with an alternative option to try.

Made with real Matcha green tea sourced form Japan and China, the candy bar is made with a base of white chocolate to put a focus on the rich flavor of the tea. The product is also free from artificial flavors, colors and preservatives to make it suitable for consumers seeking to avoid these ingredients.

Senior Brand Manager for KitKat Jemma Handley spoke on the new KitKat Green Tea Matcha chocolate bar release saying, "We are very excited to be able to offer this new innovative product, inspired by the flavours of Kitkat in Japan to our fans here in the UK and Ireland. We have been receiving many requests about making the different Kitkat flavours in Japan available to our consumers here. This unique new flavour has been Japan’s firm favourite for the last fifteen years and we are sure it will be a huge hit here as well.”
