If you’re ever in Canada, you’ll have to make a stop over at some of the country’s hottest bars and night clubs. If you’re going to get all glammed up for a night on the town, and are ready to see or be seen, you’ll definitely want to make a point of checking out a few of the hot spots on our list.

In Montreal:
Globe - This upscale eatery offers a fine selection of wines along with scrumptiously divine global dishes. The Boulevard St. Laurent restaurant is one of Montreal’s top dining destinations, both for its exquisite menus and high end ambiance. For a special treat for a party of 20+, book a private gourmet luncheon.
Rosalie - In the 1970s, this bar and restaurant was a fetish club, but today, it’s a beautiful venue fusing historical architecture with nouveau design touches. Those looking to celebrate something special can toast over a AAA filet mignon with a $1,000 bottle of Dom Perignon Rose.
Buonanotte Bar & Ristorante - This chic Italian destination is a must for anyone who enjoys a fresh caprese salad, margherita pizza or delicious vongole, but are committed to looking good doing it. Gisele and Leo DiCaprio chose this venue for a romantic Canadian date. Just remember to pop a mint after your meal!
Club 1234 - If you’re looking for a place to party, this is the place to do it in style. The 21+ downtown Montreal night club has an enormous dancefloor for those looking to work up a sweet, or private VIP rooms for a more low key night out. It has a 1,500 capacity which always fills up with the city’s most beautiful and stylish.

In Toronto:
C-Lounge - This spa-inspired bar features VIP cabanas by the pool as well as makeup touch-ups and massage services.
This is London - Paris Hilton, Hilary Duff & Dave Navarro party here, it’s also host to a lot of top tier fashion shows.
Century Room - This loft nightclub is situated in a 1904 warehouse, complete with 16 ft ceilings and exposed brick walls. The large bay windows offer a stunning look over King West in the front lounge, and the front lounge lets you laze on plush couches, dance into the wee hours, or snuggle up in a private booth. The treed patio is perfect for that drunken cigarette; it’s open year round, complete with heat lamps for chillier nights.
Lobby - This lounge and restaurant is a stylish venue in the heart of downtown. It’s chic decor was done by the famous “Designer Guys.”

In Vancouver:
Opus Bar - This hip Yaletown bar serves as one of Vancouver’s top places to see and be seen. This is where the city’s rich and famous come when they want to show off their style savvy.
The Alibi Room - If you want to get in on Vancouver’s film industry, this is the best venue to hob nob with actors, producers, artists and star wannabes. The higher end restaurant and lounge is located in trendy Gastown.
Granville Street - If you want to be seen in as many places at once in a single night, this street is your best bet. Choose from Roxy, Commodore Ballroom, Yale,
SkyBar - On Smithe Street: “A 3-storey Miami-influenced club and lounge where the martinis are as inventive as the fashion sense. Check out the retractable roof on the top floor and party under the stars,” advises Vancouver Tourist.
AuBar - On Seymour St: “Upscale club that caters to a crowd expecting elegant sophistication in their nightlife.” (Vancouver Tourist)
Voda - On Homer St: “Chic, urban bar and club where young professionals go to see and be seen.” (VT)

We spent this past weekend in Montreal, staying at the newly re-branded Opus Hotel and having dinner Saturday night at Buonanotte. The lamb was incredible! It fell off the bone. I would recommend both of these places to anyone visiting Montreal.
