For this year’s Black Friday, BuyHandmade.org presented a different kind of door buster. They started ‘Pledge Handmade,’ which asks consumers to commit themselves to only buying handmade items this holiday season. Handmade pledges are no easy feat in our mass-produced times. One way to maintain handmade pledges may be to solely buy from Etsy. This is highly recommended, especially considering how amusing white elephant parties could be.
