As a project completed upon his graduation from the Institute of Design in Lahti, Finland, Olli Erkkila thought up an amazing idea: forkless bicycles. At a mere 28 years of age, this talented young designer invented a cruiser that that looks unlike any other.

Even the mechanics of the forkless bicycles are different. Check out the video above to see Olli Erkkila cycling around the streets with some severe style.

Implications - In the last few years, the Green movement has helped increase the number of people who use bicycles and other methods of transportation to and from school/work. One of the best ways a company can capitalize on this is by providing those eco-friendly consumers with the option of an avant-garde designed product. This will attract consumers eager to stand out from the masses, and those who take the "alternative," lifestyle of eco-living to the extreme, even in appearance.
