PG Tips is Promoting Its Tea with a Floating Sculpture Made of Tea Leaves

As part of the promotions for its green tea, PG Tips created a floating sculpture and sent it down the Thames. The two-storey sculpture was made from more than 110,000 fabricated green tea leaves and depicts a happy green monkey enjoying a cup of PG Tips brand green tea.

The Thames River has always been a winning destination for larger-than-life floating advertisements of this kind, including everything from floating houses from Airbnb to projections of superheros from Disney and Marvel.

PG Tips' monkey sculpture was made in collaboration with Monkey and it is tied to the launch of a Green Paper report that will highlight some of the ways that fresh green elements from nature are being worked into homes and workspaces to boost moods and increase productivity.
