 Winterize Your Floors With Panasonic It’s time to say “good bye” to those Popsicle toes! If you have hardwood floors, then you know how uncomfortable your feet can get in the winter. Anyone susceptible to cold toes can rejoice now thanks to Panasonic. With the heated rug, your feet no longer have to spend the entire season buried in sheep-skin lined slippers. The warm rugs are making their debut in Asia when they’re released this September. Panasonic unveiled their “No-Constrainst Carpet” at the Tokyo Fiber exhibit as Pink Tentacle reported, describing it as an “innovative hot carpet with the warm, fuzzy appeal of a beloved pet. The carpet’s luxurious coat of faux fur (available in white, brown, or skunk-like black and white) houses a set of smart heating elements that deliver warmth only to the areas you touch when you cuddle it. Squishy, flesh-like control switches modeled after the paw pads of your favorite furry friend enhance the carpet’s overall zoomorphic feel.”  A heated floor goes a long way to making you feel like the rest of you is toasty, and a fuzzy covering provides better insulation than skin, so the Panasonic Electric Carpet is an excellent combination of luxury and good sense. Containing a radiant but ultra-thin heater, the carpet can provide warmth up to 46°C. It's also stain resistant in case your pet gets a little too comfortable. (Ew, sorry.)
