Dogs know when they look good and so do their owners. The California Collar Company sells their unique eco-friendly leather dog collars online through an Etsy shop. The collars are made with 8 oz. leather and solid brass spots and rim settings. Designs are fully customizable so you can choose colors and even faux gemstones for the designs that use them.  All of my collars are entirely handmade by me in my studio in Los Angeles. I dye each strip myself and hand set all the stones and spots and stitch each one on a vintage Singer sewing machine.
All collars are made with 8 oz. vegetable tanned leather. I chose this type of leather over Latigo due to the more environmentally friendly tanning process and limited amount of stretch. All dyes and adhesives used are 100% biodegradable, water based, low VOC products…
