Raja Gondkar heads up the Design Department of the Indian Institute in Mumbai. As a result, he has a known reputation for 20 years of innovative art and design. Consequently he may not have had time to watch Star Trek and therefore didn’t know his jewelry looks a lot like Spock and Klingon foreheads as well as a funky wire beard. He is now teaching a new generation to go where no person has gone before.

Believe it or not, it actually won him The Overall Design Award for the Bridal Wear Category at the 9th Indian Jewellery Design Competition.
