Parents are desperate for new tips and tricks for keeping baby happy, and giving mommy a few extra minutes to herself and marketers are well intune with this desperation. The market is glutted with helpful, thoughtful and just strange appliances, gadgets and tools, all claiming to make parent’s lives just a little bit easier.
Some of the weirdest, creepiest inventions include The Bathroom Door Baby Hanger, Potty Mitts and Toppers, Mommy Hands and a Snot Vac. Are these products really necessary? Or are parents being preyed upon, becoming dupeless pawns in a merciless marketing machine bent on making parents their witless victims?
