At once quirky and natural, Corey Arnold's photography explores the every day life of being an Alaskan commercial fisherman and a photographer. During the off-season when he's not captaining a wild salmon gillnetting operation in Bristol Bay, Alaska, Corey Arnold's time is filled with travel, gallery exhibitions as well as magazine and ad photography assignments.
Corey Arnold's ongoing photo project titled 'Fish-Work' melds his two passions together. Through Fish-Work, he chronicles the life of fishing around the world. Thus far, Corey Arnold has shot in Europe, Norway and the Bering Sea for this particular series. From majestic captures to playful photos, Corey Arnold manages to portray the lifestyle of a fisherman beautifully. It is not all hard work, that's for sure.
