Firaxis Announces the Upcoming New Civilization VI Game

Firaxis announced the confirmation of the Civilization VI game in the works with little to say about the details of the highly anticipated game. The company did note that Ed Beach will be the creative mind that leads the project with over 15 years of experience under his belt. Additionally, Heather Hazen is now taking over as the studio's operating officer.

Hazen speaks about the new shifts, stating “I’m thrilled to have this opportunity to carry on the studio’s storied legacy, beginning with the announcement that Firaxis is in development on the next iteration of the legendary Civilization franchise. I’m lucky to be working with some of the best developers in our industry, and we have plans to take the Civilization franchise to exciting new heights for our millions of players around the world.”
