Collaborative Workspace Launches

The Center for Social Innovation NYC Opened Earlier This Month

May 1, the Center for Social Innovation NYC opened its doors. SocialBusiness.org has covered the Centre for Social Innovation many times before. In March of 2011, we interviewed Eli Malinsky, the hub's director. We also heard Tonya Surman, the founder, address the 2011 Social Finance Forum discussing how to create community bonds. And just in the past couple months, we featured CSI's Catalyst, an online program that fosters funding for social initiatives.

As such, it's an exciting time for the Toronto-based organization that has a knack for supporting communities and now, across borders.
