Celebrity Endorsed Christmas - The Magic of Macy's Ad (VIDEO)

This holiday commercial for Macy’s department stores in the U.S. features celebrity designers who decorate the store. It’s no secret that endorsement by A-list celebrities helps to boost a brand, but often times, the stars featured are irrelevant to the actual product. In Macy’s case, the celebs are very fitting for the ad.

The commercial features celebrities whose branded products are actually sold at Macy’s, including Jessica Simpson’s footwear line, Martha Stewart’s home and interior designs, and the Donald’s line of luxury goods. The ad opens with Usher putting on the Christmas tunes, playing department store DJ. In the next scene, Martha shows off her holidays baubles, inspiring Jessica Simpson to get creative on DIY ornaments, a bunch of other celebrity cameos follow.
