Dubai prides itself on surpassing every other urban metropolis on the planet, so it's no surprise that they've just erected the world's tallest high-rise. The Burj Dubai, a hotel, residence and business complex, lists at $4.1 billion and is currently in its final stages of construction. Upon completion, the building will be 800 meters tall, having 165 floors which surpasses Taiwain's Taipei 101 which stands at 508 meters.
"Initial reports indicate that Burj Dubai's observation deck will be located on its 124th floor, which is 442 metres high," CTV reported. "That could still leave the CN Tower in the record books for the world's highest 'publicly' accessible observation deck, which is a full five metres above the Burj Dubai deck."
