Many people aim to emulate Madonna, but Sacha Baron Cohen’s character Bruno has adopted an African child in an attempt to be like the Material Girl.

Sacha Baron Cohen has pulled out all of the stops to promote ‘Bruno,’ his new movie. He has done everything from wearing outrageous clothing to executing silly stunts at the MTV Awards. I can’t help but wonder what’s next!

Implications - Society appreciates humor that is tasteful and clever, and satire and mockery are methods of achieving this. When companies mock or tease a competitor in a manner that is comedic and most importantly, appropriate, the consumer recognizes that they have power in the industry. Companies should utilize humor in advertisements to relate and appeal to their target demographic.
