Implications - Society appreciates humor that is tasteful and clever, and satire and mockery are methods of achieving this. When companies mock or tease a competitor in a manner that is comedic and most importantly, appropriate, the consumer recognizes that they have power in the industry. Companies should utilize humor in advertisements to relate and appeal to their target demographic.
