Spoiling Scalper Schemes - Aussie Fans Strike Back

Australian fans of live events are raining on the paraders of scalpers and have decided that if they can’t attend concerts and sporting events, nobody can. Fans down under were tired of tickets selling out in five minutes, of paying inflated prices to scalpers, and of having no solutions… so they came up with their own. They’re bidding on marked-up eBay tickets, then not paying for them.

The government hasn’t done anything to stop scalpers from buying up huge blocks of seats. eBay says they’re merely the vessel to deliver products to the marketplace. That’s why some fans are making sure that if they can’t attend, no one else can either.
