The Anne Sofie Madsen SS14 collection that recently debuted at Copenhagen Fashion Week plays up mostly black and white elements, emulating the lines and patterns of a graphic novel.

Although the collection takes cues from Japanese manga and animation, which can be quite sweet, the garments take on a tough aesthetic. The name of the collection is 'Post-Human Speed,' which embodies Transformer-like shapes that break up the body into robot-like segments and overly-accentuate some body parts like torsos and arms. One all-black garment has grille-like detailing like you'd find on a car.
