Andre Young Jr, the son of hip-hop star Dr. Dre passed away this week, leading to an influx in the publication of both men's names in the media.
Most interesting is that 20 year old Andre Young Jr was relatively unknown before this incident. I didn't know who he was, nor did many of the people in forums, yet what's fascinating is that people from around the world offered virtual prayers.
Bossip.com, for example, posted an article detailing Andre Young Jr's death on August 26, and so far, 160 comments were left in the form of prayers, blessings, and words of sympathy.

The forum also has posts about people saying the whole thing is false, and that Andre Young Jr hasn't in fact died; however, a lot of respected news sites also covered the story, so we conclude that he has passed, and our prayers go to him and Dr. Dre's family.
