ADDMAN Introduced Its Carbon Fiber-Reinforced PEKK Material

ADDMAN offers HexPEKK, a carbon fiber-reinforced PEKK material for selective laser sintering, featuring independently developed NCAMP qualification and published B-basis design allowables. The material is engineered for aerospace and defense applications where low weight, strength, thermal stability and chemical resistance are important.

HexPEKK was qualified through the National Center for Advanced Materials Performance at the National Institute for Aviation Research, with testing across multiple build orientations, environmental conditions, material lots and production builds. ADDMAN is the exclusive production source and manufactures HexPEKK parts at its New York facility using SLS alongside CNC machining, inspection and assembly. Applications include structural brackets, environmental ducting, connector housings and thermal management systems.

For engineers, the qualification provides independently generated, statistically validated material properties that can support certification efforts and reduce uncertainty during material selection. The combination of SLS design freedom and NCAMP-backed data helps move printed structural components toward production aerospace use.
