Even if I had the money, I don’t think I would be patient enough to put myself on a six-year waiting list for a Hermes Birkin bag. Thank goodness for the Christie’s auction, which would give me the opportunity (again, had I the money) to bid on a Birkin bag and sidestep the waiting list.
Scheduled at their South Kensington store in London, the Christie’s auction invites handbag enthusiasts with money to spare to bid on the much coveted Hermes Birkin and Kelly bags. Also included in the auction is a selection of vintage jewelry.
