Trend Hunter has seen body paint being used in just about everything in 2008, from protests against the global financial crisis and animal abuse to Halloween costumes and artistic Sports Illustrated photo shoots. Advertising agencies must be reading TrendHunter.com, because now they are jumping on body painting as well.

Ad agency Grey, Kuala Lumpur uses the idea of having clothes painted on the naked body of the models in order to promote Downy, the clothes softener.

I like the approach, it communicates the selling point of the product, which is making clothes so soft you'll feel as if you were wearing nothing, in a fun and sexy way.

The ads were created under the art direction of Phoecus Lee and David Sin.
