Coming from the west coast of Canada, I have a huge soft
spot for environmental issues, particularly those concerning marine life.
I grew up playing in tide pools and would collect beach litter as a kid. Some people teased me for it, saying I could never make a difference that way. It didn't deter me, nor does it now. Perhaps by bringing light to the incredible awareness campaigns below, I can at least help raise some consciousness to the efforts of others.
As a collective, I truly believe socially conscious activism can make a much bigger difference. There is no action too small.
