Co-authors of the Vivian Maier: Out of the Shadows book Richard Cahan and Michael Williams researched the background of the unsuspecting photographer for over a year. Between interviewing her old employers, friends and family, the authors discovered the ordinary lifestyle of the nanny. This will be the second book released about the photographer. In 2011, Vivian Maier: Street Photographer was released with excellent reviews. It is apparent Maier's true love with her work with photography.
