The aptly titled “Unbelievable Fashion” editorial in the December 2008 issue of Vogue UK is an out-of-this-world celebration of the eccentric and flamboyant fashion designs from some of the most unique and creative designers of our time.

“Through the generations of designers, there are visionaries who conjure fabulous creations that go beyond the boundaries of the imagination, transporting us to other worlds,” explains the editorial’s introduction.

Wild couture creations of the likes of Galliano, Viktor & Rolf, Thierry Mugler, Issey Miyake, Gareth Pugh, Alexander McQueen, Hussein Chalayan, and Rei Kawakubo are captured by Nick Knight.

This is by far the most intense fashion editorial I have ever seen. This is simply what fashion is about!
