The Purple Fashion Re-Fashion Women Power Editorial is Branded

The Purple Fashion Re-Fashion Women Power editorial features models Kaitlin Aas and Magda Laguinge. The two are displayed while painted here in swishes of ink, designs that were overseen on behalf of the magazine's stylist Vanessa Reid.

Reid's swirls and bows were given an upscale feel via drawings of the iconic Chanel symbol. The production's references to high end fashion continued as Aas and Laguinge's bodies were stamped with Armani and Lanvin logos.

Photographer Mel Bles captured these stylish illustrations in each shot. While the symbols do instantly draw in the eyes of Purple Fashion's readership, Reid's inclusion of stripe jailbird pants and suspenders provided similarly unusual focal points. When paired with chunky lace heels, it is difficult to take one's eyes off of this Spring/Summer 2013 production.
