'Muru Pops Down in Tytyri' is a Restaurant Located 80 Meters Underground

There are plenty of off-the-wall restaurants and themed diners around the world, and the 'Muru Pops Down in Tytyri' restaurant will soon be one of them. The eatery, set to open in September 2012, is situated 80 meters below the ground, and visitors must go through a mining museum to get to it.

Located in Tytyri, Lohja, Finland, the 'Muru Pops Down in Tytyri' restaurant comes from the Helsinki restaurant Muru and will be in the style of a "mining canteen," reports Wired UK. To get to the underground restaurant, guests must descend down on rickety lifts to narrow tunnels, passing through the mining museum. Visitors must all wear helmets when moving around as well, except when they arrive in the restaurant.

You can go online to purchase or reserve a package, which includes transport from Helsinki, a four-course meal, and a cocktail and wine assortment for £101.
