Lulu Liu Fall/Winter 2012 is unusual and extravagant, just like Salvador Dali, the inspiration for the collection. London College of Fashion graduate Lu Liu is behind the fashion company Lulu Liu. The brand is a mix between luxury and high fashion. The website describes Lulu Liu's signature styles as using, "oversized pleats mixed with long layers and vivid colours."

Each piece successfully captures this signature style and infuses it with Dali-esque color and excess. The layering in the pieces is done softly, keeping the collection feminine. Additionally, Liu uses fur in unexpected ways incorporating it into wrist bracelets and as detailing on shoes. These touches add an extra something special to the collection. The pieces are confidently bold with its colors and shapes. This combination creates an original style that is fun and elegant.
