CharlieDog and Friends Supports Canine Rescue Causes and Shelters

CharlieDog and Friends is a new New York State-based social venture launched in August 2012 that supports no-kill animal shelters and rescue causes.

CharlieDog and Friends has created a unique line of stuffed animals inspired by real-life adopted shelter pets with $5 of each purchase going back to the shelter from which the pet was rescued to save at-risk dogs.

The stuffed animal toys are handmade and super-soft dogs and cats that tell the story of the particular pet that inspired it. CharlieDog and Friends also hope to raise awareness on struggling rescue operations and inspire future pet owners to adopt from a shelter rather than buy a new puppy.
