Capital Conflict Management is an Anti-Violence Initiative in the UK

Capital Conflict Management is a London-based UK crime prevention initiative that was established in response to escalating gun and knife violence in late 2008. The program is partially funded by the Metropolitan Police Services, along with the London Councils and other local institutions.

Targeting over 13 at-risk or violent-offending youth, the Capital Conflict Management program seeks to provide each participant with a trained skill and a credible, marketable body of knowledge. Through this program, CCM aims to place at-risk youth on the path to sustainable employment and curb youth violence.

Notably, Capital Conflict sought to engage and train a number of individuals already a part of the community to provide the service, which is viewed as an overall attempt at violence reduction.
