Design student Brigitte Coreman has produced a pair of menstruation visualization clocks that depict the female reproductive cycle. One of the clocks measures a woman’s body temperature, tracks the hormonally triggered fluctuations over the course of a month and charts them on a continuous roll of paper.
The second menstruation visualization clock is a necklace-like chain of 500 beads that represent eggs that advance at the rate of one per monthly cycle. When set to the age of the onset of menstruation, the chain represents the ongoing chances of pregnancy.
