Trippy Reflective Seating

Mount Fuji Architects 'In Flakes' Benches Let You Sit on the Sky

The Mount Fuji Architecture Studio has done it again with 'In Flakes' Benches located in Japan's Towada Art Center. Although they are intended to be simple seating structures, these mirrored benches could be an exhibit on their own.

The 'In Flakes' benches are located directly under a plot of cherry trees, making for a beautiful pattern reflected onto the seating. Each bench is made of two or three folded stainless steel panels, making the actual design of the 'In Flakes' benches rather simple.

Regardless, their beauty is astonishing as it changes every hour, season and year.
