Pentel, the leading Japanese stationery and writing instrument manufacturer, has released the world's first aromatherapy fragrant pencil lead, Ain Supplio. The company has combined nano-technology with the knowledge of aromatherapy to develop a new type of long-lasting aroma pencil lead which can boost up mental capacity. It's available in three flavors; rose, green tea and rosemary.
Implications - Ain Supplio infuses nanocapsules (tiny air bubbles) into the lead. This miniature size of the nanocapsules actually provides it with extra strength, which means the smell lasts a lot longer. To be more specific: three years if it's kept unopened, two years kept in the plastic case, and about three months when it's out in the open.
