The United Nations has been feverishly working on securing an affordable laptop for students around the world. That deal is now a reality and the first Asus Eee PC 701 laptop computers will be issued with a price tag of $199. The UN is concerned that the global dominance of technology and the Internet has left students who cannot afford a computer down. The new computer is Linux based with Internet connectivity and a whole host of other features that will ensure students get ahead of the game instead of lagging behind due to lack of funds.
